The convenience key simply needs to be carried in the driver's pocket or bag at all times. Unlocking and locking the vehicle from outside is accessible via sensors on all door handles. Pressing the start/stop button integrated in the centre console starts and stops the engine. It also includes an electric hands-free boot lid release sensor located underneath the rear bumper, which can be operated by a simple leg kicking movement underneath the sensor. Opening the boot lid is also possible with the vehicle locked.
